The Kerzoven studio has been working on a new game for some time, and the publisher Metaroot is helping them to create it. Their game is called Of Life and Land and will strengthen the camp of city-building strategies. In Of Life and Land, you can build a small but growing village in a pleasant rural environment. But we must take every step in such a way as to adapt to nature as best as possible. Because every animal and every plant does just that, they adapt to their environment. How much we sacrifice for this is up to us.
Players can build buildings in the usual way, and assign tasks to the inhabitants of the village. Climate changes must be monitored, and missing resources must be acquired from other villages through trade. Players are given a free hand, so they can even choose to ignore nature, but this will also have its consequences.
An early version of Of Life and Land is available on Steam with a 10% discount until April 16th.
