Gadget – WhatsApp users around the world were frustrated today as the popular instant messaging platform experienced an outage.
Many users reported that they were unable to send or receive messages, as well as experiencing problems with other features such as voice and video calling.
Based on a report from the DownDetector.com site, this problem started occurring around 01.00 WIB, April 4 2024 early this morning and appears to be affecting users in various countries. Other social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook were flooded with complaints from frustrated WhatsApp users.
Some users reported that they saw a “Waiting for this message to be sent…” message that wouldn’t change, while others couldn’t even open the WhatsApp app at all.
There has been no official statement from WhatsApp regarding the cause of this disruption.
However, some speculations say that this issue may be caused by an unexpected technical problem.
This WhatsApp disruption of course causes a lot of inconvenience for its users.
