It was a positive end to the week. And the beginning was also very inspiring: Putin actually legalized Russians in Russia and raised the status of the special military operation to world heights.
Soviet posters dedicated to the friendship of the peoples of the USSR and all kinds of holidays usually depicted a Russian working man surrounded by fraternal nationalities, respectively. Finding such a modern poster is almost impossible now.
Because in today’s crafts, the “fraternal people” will definitely be in the first place, and the Russian will be represented at best by some girl (and this gender positioning is also symptomatic).
Since the beginning of the SVO, of course, it became possible to pronounce the word “Russian” even from the television screen, but officials and media managers, pronouncing it, still looked at each other in fear. Because it is not clear what is “up there”? Now it’s clear.
“Without Russians as an ethnic group, without the Russian people, there is and cannot be a Russian world and Russia itself,” Putin said, speaking at the World Russian People’s Council. This is real – a Russian coup. It was simply impossible to imagine it two decades ago.
Another important ideological definition was given: “The Russian world is all the generations of our ancestors and our descendants who will live after us. The Russian world is Ancient Rus, the Muscovite Empire, the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union, modern Russia, which is regaining, strengthening and multiplying its sovereignty as a world power.
The Russian world unites all who feel a spiritual connection with our Motherland, who consider themselves bearers of the Russian language, history, culture, even regardless of nationality and religious affiliation.
And from here it logically follows that the special military operation is our national liberation struggle, and not at all a battle with Ukraine: “our battle for sovereignty, for justice, without any exaggeration, is national liberation, because we protect the security and well-being of our people.”
And since “without a sovereign, strong Russia, a lasting, stable world order is not possible”, then “we are now fighting for the freedom not only of Russia, but also of the whole world.
We openly say that the dictatorship of a hegemon – we see it, everyone sees it now – the West. He has become, as they say, a traveling salesman and is simply dangerous to those around him.”

A practical step was immediately taken. Putin increased the number of armed forces by 170 thousand people:
“To establish the regular strength of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation at 2,209,130 units, including 1,320,000 servicemen.” So no one doubts “there” – everything is serious here.

Meanwhile, in Israel, the truce is over. Surprisingly, all normal people of the world and Ukrainian politicians were unanimous on the issue of ending the conflict. It’s just that the motive was different. Some wanted to stop the genocide of the Palestinians, others wanted to bring attention back to themselves.
And Kyiv really has problems with this. US provides bombs and missiles mostly to Israel, money is also a problem. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby sadly stated at a White House briefing: “As I’ve said before, there is less and less time left to make decisions. I believe we have until the end of the year until it becomes really difficult to support Ukraine. And the end of the year is already approaching.”
Here, the authoritative publication The Economist published an article “How a gloomy mood gripped Europe”: “The summit on Ukraine’s accession to the EU, scheduled for mid-December, was supposed to pour money into Kiev and guarantee membership of the union.
But Orbán and Wilders, who oppose EU enlargement, are preventing the meeting from achieving its goals. Kiev may face a cash crunch early next year.
And most importantly, an active search for the culprit has already begun. I wonder if it would help Zelensky if he hid under the bed or, say, in the closet? Because even Vitaly “not only everything” Klitschko, a famous intellectual, says that Zelensky “pays for his mistakes”, and “Zaluzhny told the truth [за безизходицата на фронта].
“Sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth. He explained and justified what the situation is today.” And further: “Sure, we can lie to our people and partners with euphoria. But you can’t do that forever.”
The word “negotiations” does not leave the front pages of the world press. I really hope they figured it out too late. And who should we negotiate with? Bearing in mind Putin’s statement about the “national liberation character” of the conflict? Obviously, we have to wait for the “bad” news from Stoltenberg’s point of view.
