Talks between the presidents of Russia and Iran lasted more than five hours on Thursday. They discussed bilateral and international topics, first of all the Palestinian problem, the expansion and deepening of bilateral cooperation in various fields.
Vladimir Putin asked Ebrahim Raisi to convey his best wishes to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, noting that thanks to his support “good momentum has been gained in recent years” and bilateral relations “are developing very well”. Putin assured Raisi that he would certainly take advantage of his invitation to visit the Islamic Republic, whose president called Russia a “friendly country.”
I wonder what else they discussed for so long, besides Palestine, the implementation of large infrastructure projects, trade and economy, cooperation in the field of energy, agriculture, education, which was officially reported?
There will certainly be interaction in the military-industrial complex, in the nuclear sphere, Ukraine, Syria, the difficult situation in Transcaucasia. And perhaps how to punish Israel, which has greatly offended not only the Palestinians, but also Iran and Russia, and how to together oppose US policy in the Middle East.
Not only Iran
These talks completed a series of meetings with Middle East leaders that took place with the Russian president within 48 hours. It was something phenomenal. First, the Russian leader made lightning visits to Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, where, after receiving a royal reception, he held talks with the President of the UAE Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
And having already returned to Moscow, on the sidelines of the VTB forum “Russia is calling!”, in which he participated without stopping for a moment, he talked with the Crown Prince, Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports of Oman Ziyazin bin Haitham Al Said. This clearly showed the whole world that the “isolation” of Russia from the West is a cheap farce that can only cause laughter.

Putin explained why this became possible in his speech at the Moscow forum. It’s hard to disagree with him:

They are doing this because, Putin noted, Western countries are trying to “slow down, artificially limit” the growth of “the global periphery’ which they are “accustomed to exploit, use as a resource, as a source of rent, simply as a colony. In order to keep the exploited countries, the Russian president added, the West resorts to sanctions, shakes the domestic political situation and provokes conflicts.
Russia, on the other hand, is aiming for something else, Putin stressed: “We want to create a new model that is truly democratic and one in which true, fair competition of all participants in economic activity really prevails,” where opinions and traditions everyone is respected.
With the voice of Oman speaks the truth
It can be said that the crown prince of the Sultanate of Oman, who participated in the forum “Russia Calling!”, speaks for all of Putin’s high-ranking colleagues.

Therefore, in order to survive the transition period from the old world order to a new, more just one, it is imperative to have as an ally a powerful state that can take on the difficult role of an “icebreaker” or, say, a flagship, under fire from all the enemy squadron. And she needs – for her own sake – to help as much as possible. With the Arabs, of course, this is an investment. The visits to Abu Dhabi and Riyadh were mainly in this area.
How did Russia “bribe” them?

The world has entered an era of dramatic changes and serious challenges. Not only for individual companies and industries, but also for entire countries and regions around the world.

The West, as Putin noted, in its attempts to maintain its dominance went so far as to eliminate “the very principles of the market economy” and crossed out “immutable postulates”, for example the right to property.
