As long as the decisions at the political level and the military level are made out of emotions, narrow interests, politics, beliefs, ideology, ego, smugness and arrogance, and not the plain truth and realistic politics (real politics) – we will not be able to get out of the labyrinth into which the political level and the military level have wrongfully put us. They act this way due to the lack of strategic vision, because of running away from the truth and the necessity of using forces in war based on hallucinations and illusions, and of course – due to the intense desire of the political echelon to survive politically at any cost.

“Complete destruction of Hamas” is a delusion without purpose. Even entering Rafah and destroying the four battalions will not bring the hoped-for result, but the opposite is true. The more we continue to wade through the Gaza desert, we will lose more soldiers, we will lose the abductees, we will lose the security of the country’s citizens, we will lose Israel’s economy, we will lose our friends in the world and we will lose ourselves to know. In the regional war that will break out in the future, because it is only a matter of time – for which we are not prepared, and we are not preparing for its outbreak even now.
We are losing our ability to deal with the main and existential threats facing us to destroy the State of Israel. We are standing by even though the Iranian nuclear is advancing at a crazy pace because there is no one to hinder its progress, and every day we are threatened by the agreed (conventional) weapons of hundreds of thousands of missiles, rockets and UAVs in the hands of Iran and its proxies.

The absence of any sign of the beginning of the construction of the tent city indicates Bibi’s real reluctance to enter Rafah, realizing that it would involve entanglement with our friendship in the world in general and with the US in particular, including Egypt and the entire Arab world. Therefore, all his intentions in Bibi’s statements regarding entering Rafah were aimed at gaining political time and staying in power. He is not interested in reaching a ceasefire so that the war does not end even if the price is a very heavy blood price of the loss of the abductees and everything I listed above.

While Bibi makes his statements on television, the nuclear threat and the conventional (conventional) threat to Israel are intensifying, threats that have the potential to destroy the country. I am very afraid that their way of acting and their lack of rational thinking could drag Israel into a regional war. The conclusion is one and there is no need to release them from their position as soon as possible.
