The first electric car released by Chinese home appliance company Xiaomi is causing controversy due to a series of accidents.

After this video was released and controversy over the car’s performance arose, Xiaomi explained that the incident occurred due to the test drive customer’s poor driving skills.
There was also a test drive car whose tire burst after stepping on a roadside curb.
The wheels were dented and the car body collapsed, sparking controversy over safety.

On the day of release, 5,000 units were immediately sold out, and the Founders Edition, which was limited to 5,000 additional pre-orders, was sold out within 1 minute of going on sale.
