Gais and Norrköping are reported after the premiere: “Too bad”

Gais and IFK Norrköping are notified, according to The soccer channel.
Both clubs showed questionable replays during the opening weekend.
– I think it’s bad, says SvFF’s head referee Stefan Johanesson to the site.

The clubs in the Allsvenskan have clear directives. No replays of controversial rulings are to be shown in the arenas. It is a directive from Swedish Elite Football (Sef).

But when Gais was denied a penalty in the opener against BP and when Malmö’s Erik Botheim scored against IFK Norrköping in an offside position, replays were shown.

The replays were met with both boos and dissatisfaction from the audience in both arenas.

The Swedish Football Association’s head referee Stefan Johannesson says the following about what happened:

– I think it’s bad. The clubs know why the directive exists: so that there will not be unrest in the stands if the referee misses something questionable, says the former elite referee, and tells us that it is the clubs, together with Sef, who are behind the directive, he tells The soccer channel and continues:

– You are more surprised that it is they who set the directives and so they do not follow them.

Now both clubs risk fines, confirms Per Eliasson, Sef’s match delegate manager for the Football Channel. For misdemeanors like these, the practice is a fine of SEK 6,000.

Gais and Norrköping lost their premierships in the Allsvenskan’s first round with 0-4 and 1-5 respectively.
