A strong fire was reported this afternoon in a factory that works with recycled plastic, in the municipality of Tejutla, Chalatenango, with no reports of people burned or affected by smoke inhalation.
The fire occurred in the Salitre canton, in the jurisdiction of Tejutla, in Chalatenango, according to a report from lifeguards from the Salvadoran Green Cross.
Members of the Fire Department arrived aboard a motor pump to extinguish the flames that destroyed all the raw materials that were stored in the factory yard. The amount of losses and possible motives that caused the fire were not revealed.
