Hernia surgery performed Prime Minister (PM) of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu called running successfully. Netanyahu’s condition is now starting to recover.
Reported AFP, Monday (1/4/2024), the Israeli PM’s office said Netanyahu’s operation had been successful. Currently Netanyahu is in good condition and starting to recover.
Doctors discovered the hernia on Saturday (30/3) during a routine check-up, and after consultation, Netanyahu agreed to undergo surgery after completing his daily schedule.
Previously, Netanyahu reportedly underwent surgery on Sunday (31/3). Israeli Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Yariv Levin served as prime minister while Netanyahu underwent surgery, the Israeli prime minister’s office said.
The hernia operation took place in the midst of the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. This war broke out in October 2023 and continues to this day.
