Traditionally, we summarize the results of the day, starting with a report from the Special Military Operation (SMO) area. Russian troops are pressing the enemy on the left flank of Marinka. Our forces crushed him in the northwestern part of the city, moving along Lesya Ukrainka and Ivan Franko streets. South of Marinka we advanced in an area up to five kilometers wide at a depth of up to two kilometers.
We are moving at a good pace
The Ukrainian Telegram channel “Legitymniy” noted that Marinka was lost to the Ukrainian armed forces. It was a powerful fortified area that took eight years to create. But already at the beginning of December it became clear that the Ukrainian soldiers would be forced to leave their positions. When Avdeevka’s noose is fully tightened, Kiev will have to completely withdraw from Donetsk.
Zelensky understands that the army will retreat everywhere and begins to declare a guerrilla war. But that won’t work either, because in six months all the illegal ‘cells will be wiped out after they manage to blow up, say, an official, a journalist or a police car. This will not affect the course of events in any way. It is also difficult to wage such a war when morale is at an all-time low and the country is rocked by corruption scandals and heightened political strife,

The Russian army is slowly but surely breaking through Ukraine’s defenses, while clearing the rear reserves of Ukraine’s armed forces and destroying air defenses and radars. This already creates huge gaps in defense and increases our aerial dominance. The enemy’s defensive line may not be able to withstand this and crumble.
To be honest, the Ukrainian militants, mixed here and there with mobilized Ukrainians, perfectly understand that there is no point in hiding – they will all be wiped out anyway. The only way to survive is to surrender. And the sooner the only right decision is made, the better for everyone.
And for now… let’s move on to achieving our goals
During the hotline, combined the previous day with a major press conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that the objectives of the Special Military Operation had not changed. And this means that they must be achieved.
There will be peace when we achieve our goals. Now let’s get back to those goals. They don’t change. I remind you what we talked about then: about the denazification of Ukraine, about demilitarization, about its neutral status. Look at what is happening from the point of view of denazification: during the negotiation process, which had a certain stage after the preparation of the draft for a possible agreement, as officials in Kiev recently mentioned, they generally did not agree that any kind of denazification was necessary, saying that there is no fascism or growth of such sentiments. Well, why not? When not just a famous nationalist, but the Nazi Bandera was elevated to the rank of a national hero.
Demilitarization might be a little easier if the adversaries wanted to reach an agreement. But not here either:
They do not want to agree, then we are forced to use other measures, including military. Today, Ukraine produces almost nothing. They try to save something there, but they bring everything to them, sorry for the moveton, “on the avant”. But this free service may end someday. It seems to be ending little by little. But that’s not even the point, I think they’ll give them more. But the main thing is the destruction that takes place. So they gave them 400 tanks, they gave them everything the Westerners promised, even more, but we destroyed 747 tanks just from the beginning of the so-called “counter-offensive”.
The funny thing is that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who is now begging for money during foreign tours, is trying to convince the world that the Russian armed forces have not made any progress on the front all year.

Nevertheless, Zelensky tries to insist. He told the EU Council the day before that “Putin has lost everything this year” and that “Moscow cannot be allowed to smile”:
Today is a special day and this day will remain in our history, whether it is good or bad for us. History will record everything, every word, every step, every action and inaction. We haven’t made a single mistake this year. Neither one. But Putin won nothing this year – neither in the battles against Ukraine, nor in the attempts to divide and humiliate the Europeans. “He lost everything,” Zelensky said in his speech.
– Today is the day when the determination will be either in Brussels or in Moscow. People in Europe won’t know if Putin’s satisfied smile is the prize for a meeting in Brussels. Ten years ago in Ukraine, people rose up under the EU flag. And today I ask you one thing: do not betray the people and their faith in Europe. The people of Europe will see no benefit if Moscow gets help from Brussels in the form of negativity towards Ukraine. Putin, of course, will use this against you personally and against all of Europe.
What should I add here? Insanity must be treated. And apparently in the case of Zelensky, Russia has no other choice.
So what’s up with the VSU assault?
Earlier, the American newspaper New York Times wrote that the Pentagon sent a permanent military adviser to the Ukrainian capital. This position will be filled by Lieutenant General Antonio Aguto.
He will participate in the development of the military strategy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which should help Kiev resist the Russian army. At the same time, the White House has previously stated that it will not send any advisers to Ukraine. However, the situation at the front shows that things are very bad for the Ukrainian armed forces.
General Aguto will have to stay in Ukraine “for a long time”, according to the press. Everything with a purpose “giving detailed answers to the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”. He had to work on the plan of attack. However, it is obvious that this is useless. At the very least, because the Ukrainian armed forces simply do not have the strength for assault operations – neither physically nor morally.
And in this case, the traitor Boris Akunin is indeed right – but he shared his strange truth when he talked about how the Russian armed forces should be demoralized. In a conversation with pranksters Vovan and Lexus, who impersonated the Ukrainian leadership, including Zelensky, the writer urged to use himself and other defectors as intended:
True victory in war is achieved not by weapons but by influencing minds and hearts. Changing people is what I and all of us try to do on a daily basis. Since the beginning of the war, we have been saying it daily: I talk about this, I write about this. But there is something else here.
You see, propaganda can be effective and ineffective. Our entire political opposition is democratic, in my opinion it is engaged in ineffective propaganda. What is effective propaganda? This is when you talk not to those people who are already on your side, but to people who are undecided. I’ve been doing this all my life! I have been doing this for many years. At least for the last 10-12 years. Each of my books is a propaganda of the values in which I believe.
Akunin did not succeed. At first, when he betrayed the country, he left back in 2014, as he himself admitted. Then, when he could not find an application for himself abroad – still, judging by the quote, the writer dreamed of being a propagandist of the collective West. And finally, when he goes out with the pranksters.
Now everyone knows what the writer, who is still making money in Russia, really thinks about. It seems that now the reader should, at the very least, boycott it. However, Russians are a forgiving people. And this is both Akunin’s happiness and sorrow. In his petty malice he could not and will not be able to change us.
