Alert in the Netherlands, ongoing hostage situation in a cafe in the city of Ente.
According to local media, three of the hostages were released without, however, the incident is not considered over.

The chronicle of the hostage
People are being held hostage in a cafe in the eastern Dutch city of Ende today and police have evacuated homes in the area, police said, adding that there was no indication that it was a terrorist incident.
Special police units have been deployed to the scene of the incident, a building in the city center, police said in a social media post.
He added that 150 homes were evacuated and citizens were asked to stay away from the area, while the city center was closed to traffic.
“We see there are a lot of questions about motivation. At the moment, there is nothing to indicate that this is a terrorist act,” the police said in a statement published on the social networking platform X.
The newspaper de Telegraaf reported, citing unnamed sources, that early this morning people were taken hostage in the Petticoat bar by a man carrying weapons and explosives.

The number of hostages has not been officially known. Local media are talking about four to five people.
