A coffee shop was shot at in Tilburg last night. Impacts can be seen on the front door of the Caza coffee shop building on the Gasthuisring in the city. Two perpetrators fled. The business was closed at the time of the shooting.
According to Broadcasting Brabant the coffee shop has already been the target of shelling, firebombs and Molotov cocktails seven times in two years. A hand grenade was also left behind.
The damage has always been relatively minor, and so far no one has been injured. So far no one has been arrested.
The municipality of Tilburg has already closed the coffee shop several times, due to the safety of the area and that of visitors to the business. The entrepreneur previously said during a lawsuit about such a closure that the closures had hit the business hard financially.
