The leader of ITN, Slavi Trifonov, wrote a comment on social networks regarding Kiril Petkov and his words during the congress of “We continue the change” (PP). Slavi recalled that he had sentenced Petkov for BGN 50,000 and advised him to be careful with slander so as not to sue him again. Here is what Trifonov wrote on his personal Facebook profile:
I watched the midday news on BNT. In them they gave a report from some meeting of “We continue the change”. Live. And at that exact moment, Kiril Petkov was speaking, who said the following, I quote verbatim: “We had some so-called partners from ITN at the time, who were placed there like an explosion. When it gets scary they can pull the trigger and the whole thing blows up.”
I hate to replicate Kiril Petkov, but I hate lying more than Kiril Petkov. And because Kiril Petkov is constantly lying, from time to time the desire awakens in me to say, in fact, what the truth is. And other desires awaken in me, but I control myself, I try to behave politely and according to the rules.
Well, who pushed Kiril Petkov’s government. I, well! I, Kirill. I pushed him! Sorry, I pushed you to fall. No one bet me, I made this decision myself and I don’t regret doing it.
On the contrary, looking at what you did next, how many lies and what incompetence you show, now from the standpoint of time I think I did absolutely right. So, what you are saying in your meeting is another lie you are telling!
I just want to remind you, Kirill, that for the lies you told that I was a mobster, I convicted you and the court awarded me 50,000 BGN. So, you better watch what you say when it has to do with me, because I’m going to judge you again!
Let me remind you of one more thing, Kirill. I removed you from power because of your betrayal of the Bulgarians in North Macedonia and because of Asen Vassilev’s harmful policy. And time proved me right.
After your betrayal, the outbursts against my compatriots, the Bulgarians, who are not your compatriots, became monstrously insolent. And your friend, Asen Vassilev, brought 30% inflation and increased the state debt by 20 billion.
And one more thing, Kirill. Now you are roaring from the office and accusing President Radev of choosing the head of the Audit Chamber, Dimitar Glavchev, as acting prime minister. Well, didn’t you, Kirill, give a list of a dozen people, all related to GERD, to the president? Didn’t Dimitar Glavchev take this post a few months ago with the votes of PPDB? Why are you roaring now?
By drawing a line, the simple fact emerges that you, Kirill, have done the most throughout the entire history of Boyko Borisov. You not only washed him, not only returned him to power, but also changed the constitution so that now GERB has an official cabinet.
I took you down once a year and a half ago. I took you down a second time a few days ago when we returned the third mandate. I will push you as many times as I have to and as much as I can until you completely disappear from public life.
So you can start crying now. Begining.
