The ninth suspect was ordered to pretrial detention on charges of terrorism, the press service of the judiciary said today, Friday.
The regional court of Basmann decided to keep the one from Tajikistan Nazrimad Lutfulloin imprisoned until May 22.
It was revealed in the custody trial that 23-year-old Lutfulloi was ordered to 15 days of administrative detention already a week ago on Saturday, a day after the terrorist attack.
At the time, the police were looking for the perpetrators of the terrorist attack, encountered Lutfulloi and asked him to show his identity card.
Lutfulloi is said to have behaved defiantly and aggressively towards the police and refused to follow the police’s instructions.
As a result, Lutfulloi was arrested and taken to the police station. In court, he pleaded guilty and received a 15-day administrative arrest sentence. The court found him guilty of mild hooliganism.
Lutfulloi was ordered to pretrial detention today on suspicion of terrorism. The exact content of the charges is not known, as the coercive cases were handled without the presence of the press.
According to Telegram channel VTshK-Ogpu, based on Lutfulloi’s nature, he had been tortured.
The number of people killed in the terrorist attack has risen to 144 people. There are 382 wounded. The extreme Islamic organization Isis-K has announced that it is behind the terrorist attacks.
