The photographer lured young women to his studio for a photo session in 2015 and 2016. He gave them alcohol after which the victims fell into a stupor, according to the court because the photographer put drugs in the drinks. Narcotics were found in nine women during toxicological examination.
Spreadsheet with compliments
According to prosecutors, the photographer worked systematically, for example, he kept a spreadsheet with compliments that he sent in large numbers via the dating app. “This man is dangerous. He doesn’t seem to have any respect for anyone,” the prosecutor said volgens Le Parisien.
The man had been charged with sexual abuse of seventeen women. He was convicted of twelve rapes and three other cases of abuse. In two cases, the judge found there was insufficient evidence. The photographer denies it. Of his victims, he said: “Some lie, and others I have serious doubts about.”
The case has been going on for years. The photographer was arrested in 2016. He then spent 2.5 years in prison before being allowed to await his trial at home. Prosecutors say he then struck again. He must stand trial for that alleged abuse in a second case.
