A large American aid package to Ukraine has completely stalled in Congress. Republicans have refused to approve the new aid package until an agreement is reached on new security measures along the US border with Mexico.
The aid package will be around 60 billion dollars.
Last week US national security adviser Jake Sullivan was in Kyiv. There he repeated the promises that the package would arrive.
– From our perspective, we have great faith that we will get this done. We will get this aid to Ukraine, Sullivan told the press in Kyiv.
