The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority announced the fees for importing molasses and the permissible quantities of electronic cigarettes through the authority’s social media sites. The authority explained that it is permissible to import 500 grams of molasses for adult travelers without paying fees, and in the event of importing a quantity larger than the specified quantity, a disclosure must be made by The importer pays customs fees that are determined according to the quantity.

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority clarified the permissible quantities of e-cigarettes, as adult travelers are permitted to import one multi-use e-cigarette, or import a shisha device, and a quantity of 60 ml of filling liquid for the e-cigarette is permitted.
The Authority explained that the maximum permitted number of e-cigarettes is only two cigarettes, or one multi-use shisha device, or 125 single-use electronic smoking devices, and the maximum permitted amount of filling liquid is 2 liters every three months.
Import duties on personal goods
Saudi Customs announced that no customs duties are charged on the import of personal shipments, if the total value of the personal goods and the cost of purchasing them is less than 1,000 Saudi riyals, and is inclusive of the value of the goods and value-added tax, and including shipping costs.
