Among the main novelties of the team led by Rudis Gallo is the return to blue and white of Agustín Ruíz and the incorporation of the young talent Anderson Castro.
Although Tin has the experience of Concacaf championships, participation in World Cups and also a Club World Cup, now for the first time he will compete in an edition of the Beach Soccer Cup, of which El Salvador is hosting for the second time. after hosting the fair in 2022.
“I thank God because I am again in an international competition. I also want to thank the coaching staff, Professor Rudis. I feel very motivated, I have worked very hard to earn a place again and I hope that our work is reflected on the field,” commented Ruiz.
Vigor and youth are part of the elements that Anderson Castro proposes on the playing field. The native of Barra de Santiago, Ahuachapán, will appear for the first time in the competition, in which El Salvador will debut tomorrow facing Morocco.
“I feel very happy, motivated by this opportunity. I thank God for allowing me to be part of this team and to represent my country. It is a very big challenge that we will face, since they are teams with a lot of experience, but we will give all our effort in the arena to be able to win,” said Anderson.
The national coach, Rudis Gallo, mentioned that they are now ready for the competition in which they previously prepared with microcycles of training that they carried out at the Beach Soccer Stadium of the Flor Blanca Sports Complex, as well as in the coastal area of the country.
“It has been a process of a lot of work, since we know the level that this competition demands, that is why we take advantage of the time and comply with the established requirements. I also want to thank the noble Salvadoran fans who always support us. We are waiting for them tomorrow because it is always very important to have their support,” Gallo concluded.
