Autism Rancagua and Inclusion Azul Foundation announce collection and march – 2024-03-28 23:07:47

Monsignor Guillermo Vera Soto, Bishop of Rancagua-

Dear brothers and sisters,

It’s Easter! It is the day when the Lord has defeated death, he has defeated sin. It is the day when the Lord rises gloriously and goes out to meet his people. And those are you and me, each one of us.

How we wish that in each of our lives we could live what the Gospel tells us: A Jesus who approaches Mary Magdalene, who is there crying, who is dejected because she has not found her Lord and Jesus calls her by name. And that woman understands, that woman remembers her voice and the way Jesus treated her, and so she was filled with life, she was filled with hope and she was able to stand up.

How each of us would also like to hear Jesus’ greeting to the apostles, to those men who were hidden, who had been overcome by fear, but who receive that greeting from the Lord when he goes to meet them: “Peace be with you”.

We are many times like Magdalene or like the apostles, defeated by difficulties, by pain, by problems, by situations that sometimes are difficult for us to understand, because fears sometimes take over our lives. But we are believers who look at Jesus and listen to his word, who know that the Lord has defeated death, has defeated sin and that he walks with us and, in the midst of our tears and our fears, he continues to call us by name. and continues telling us: “Peace be with you.”

All of us need that peace that the Lord wants and can give us, that peace that is different, as He Himself tells us. Because that peace means that trust in God and that knowing that we are in his hands, even in those moments that may be difficult.

The Lord has risen, the Lord has defeated death and the Lord walks with us and invites us to be collaborators in his work. The thing is that, on the path of life, not only are we afraid and tearful like Magdalene, but at our side we find so many people who sometimes do not have the faith that you and I have, who do not have the hope that sometimes we encourage us. We have to approach them. Yes, the Lord also asks us for our collaboration so that we can carry that trust, to be able to tell all people to know that they are in the hands of God, that they know that they are loved by God, that they know that they are valuable to the Lord. It is the task that corresponds to us: to bring hope, to work so that hope grows around us, to work so that it is good that grows. Therefore, let us not tire of doing good and be generous in serving.

Knowing that the Lord is at our side encourages us on the path of life to be doers of good and bearers of hope.

Brothers and sisters, Christ is risen. Christ calls us by our name and invites us to rise together with Him. May we not be overcome by difficulties, may we not be overcome by problems, and may we always place our gaze and our hope on the Lord and seek the goods from above, where they are. Christ. Let the peace of the Lord fill our lives and we can be men and women of hope and give it to this world that needs it so much.

Happy Easter! Christ has won. May we overcome with Him and may the Lord always be our joy and hope. May the Holy Virgin teach us to know how to wait and trust in the Lord. May the Holy Virgin always teach us to look at the cross, that cross in which our hope is.
