(ANSA) – MILAN, MARCH 19 – For having scarred the face of a 19-year-old boy with a cut from the forehead to the chin sutured with 80 stitches and for having also robbed him of the bag in which some personal effects were stored, including the smartphone and the wallet, a precautionary custody order in prison was carried out today in Milan against 11 people of Egyptian origin between the ages of 19 and 36. The investigations, coordinated by the VII Department of the Prosecutor’s Office and conducted by the policemen of the Flying Squad of the Milan Police Headquarters, with the collaboration of the agents of the Polfer Department for Lombardy, began after the violent attack which dates back to 6 August last year in Piazzale Freud in front of the entrance to the Porta Garibaldi station. According to the reconstruction, which also occurred through the analysis of numerous videos and the acquisition of witness statements, the victim was returning with some friends after a trip to Lecco. Already on the train the group of young people from Ukraine had been targeted by the group of Egyptians. Once they got off the carriages, the situation degenerated to the point of resulting in a very violent attack. With the 19-year-old robbed and sent to hospital with bruises all over his body, a noticeable cut on his face, probably caused by a shard of bottle. (HANDLE).
