Female Bricklayer Turns OnlyFans Star, Earning €20,000 a Month: The Controversial Career Change

A female bricklayer left people amazed when she gave up her five-year career for a life in front of the camera, earning €20,000 a month. Darcie Richards had built a following of more than 100,000 people by posting masonry content on social media. The stunning 28-year-old started her career five years ago after learning many of the skills of the trade from her father.

Over time, she thought she had gotten the most out of her “work videos” and decided to spice up her page with a more daring adventure. The blonde beauty opened an account on OnlyFans – a decision that has left her fans divided. Speaking to the New York Post, Darcie said: “I thought, ‘I want to make more money. What can I do that will really shake things up?’ So I thought I’d start an OnlyFans page.”

Instagram fans are not happy

The move paid off, as she earns approximately 20,000 euros per month from the subscription site alone. In her best week on the site she earned around 12,000 euros! But despite the growth of her bank account, her decision is controversial among her fans on Instagram. Some followers have criticized her for starting her online career by encouraging women to pursue a career in masonry before changing professions.

One user said: “Don’t want to be treated differently on sites because of gender, but then start an OnlyFans page… Just do your job, baby.” Another added: “Inspires girls (younger and older) to go into construction and then goes on to encourage them to do so? Shouldn’t be promoted here in my opinion.” A third commented: “Was once a serious female construction influencer and now turned to this nonsense.” Yet Darcie does not seem to be discouraged by the criticism.

“She earns five times as much as the others on the construction site!”

She responded: “I was also a waitress, worked at Subway, a hairdresser, a kitchen assistant, a furniture factory, an animal shelter… what’s your point? Who said I have to stay in one profession and never leave or try to run my own business or work for myself or make more money…?” Even Darcie’s mother has responded to the trolls, telling NYP: “Darcie hasn’t changed, not one bit. She’s still our daughter, she’s still exactly the same as she was before. Except she’s three or four disappears into her bedroom for hours and then earns five times as much as the men and women who work hard on the shipyard!”
