Thiruvananthapuram – In a joint inspection conducted by the police and the motor vehicle department as part of preventing practice demonstrations on two-wheelers, action was taken to cancel the driving license of 26 people and to register a case against four people. A fine of Rs.4,70,750 was levied.

The action was taken following the inspection called Operation Bike Stunt conducted in various districts the other day. 32 two-wheelers were seized during the inspection. Court proceedings have also been initiated. The action was taken after it was found that the videos of the vehicles performing high-speed stunts were being posted on various social media. Traffic Road Safety Cell under Traffic IG found the culprits by checking social media.

State Police Chief Dr. On the instructions of Sheikh Darvesh Sahib, ADGP M.R. Ajith Kumar, Transport Commissioner and ADGP S. Sreejith, police and motor vehicle department officials conducted the inspection.
