The general director of the National Sports Institute of El Salvador (INDES), René Martinez, met this morning with Diogo Gama, director of national teams of Fesfut; and Juan Carlos Serrano, coordinator of national teams, to take a tour of the facilities of the INDES Hotel and the Comprehensive Care Clinic for Federated Athletes.
The objective of the visit of the Fesfut leaders was to learn about the facilities and operation of the hotel located in the Merliot Sports Center, as well as the clinic located in the Colonia Flor Blanca, for future occasions when they need to request services. that these provide.
In this regard, the general director of INDES declared that the day held this day was to fulfill the responsibility that the institute has with all sports federations.
“This tour was carried out so that they could see the modern INDES facilities, as has been done with other federations, since this sport also has the right to receive the services that our institution offers,” Martínez explained.
In that sense, the leader stressed that as an institution he tries to support the sports federations and associations that request it in the required time.
“What we are looking for is that, for example, athletes can be treated by our health professionals in cases of injuries and, of course, if they need accommodation, we have the hotel that is modernized and has the services that every athlete needs. ”, assured Martínez.
For his part, Juan Carlos Serrano, Fesfut national team coordinator, made it clear that the facilities, both the hotel and the clinic, are perfect for hosting athletes and for the recovery of soccer players.
“I am really impressed by the tour we have had in the hotel and clinic, it has everything necessary, organized, clean and very comfortable for the athletes, these are the alternatives we needed for future competitions as a federation,” said Serrano.
Likewise, Serrano praised the equipment and staff of the INDES Federated Athlete Comprehensive Care Clinic, made up of doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, nutritionists and the latest machinery for proper recovery of athletes.
“And the admiration is also with the clinic, it has adequate equipment for a good recovery process, it is something that will help us, I think that on the part of Fesfut they are services that will help us,” Serrano assured.
