Users on social networks reported the murder of a minor of only 16 years of age, who was a resident in the municipality of Palma Soriano, in the province of Santiago de Cuba.
According to independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada, the young man was identified as Cristián Daniel Ramírez Rosales, who was allegedly murdered shortly after 11:00 pm on Tuesday, March 12 in the Plaza de Mariel.
The minor’s death occurred during an argument he had with another person, who stabbed him at least three times. The communicator specified that the fight was due to sentimental problems related to a courtship.
For his part, the aggressor was identified as Jorge Félix, 21 years old, who is already in the custody of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) while the pertinent investigations are carried out.
Mayeta Labrada also revealed that the murderer has a criminal record, and that his brothers have been involved in similar crimes, with one of them serving a 10-year prison sentence for murder.
The mother of the young people was identified as Ana Digna, who works as secretary of the Court of that municipality.
After the death of the young man, family and friends have mourned what happened, dedicating moving words of farewell to him.
“What great pain your departure leaves, may you rest in peace my child, your absence has left us a void impossible to fill” and “My black man, my brother, I still don’t believe it, what great pain you have left in me. I am only left with the memories of all the beautiful things we lived together, wherever you are I will always continue to love you my black man,” were some of the comments shared by the journalist.
Finally, the communicator indicated that he would try to contact the young man’s relatives, to see if any of them were willing to reveal more details of the unfortunate case.
“I am aware, to contact family and friends of the murdered teenager, to learn more precise details of this tragic bloody event that has claimed the life of another very young person in Santiago de Cuba,” concluded Mayeta Labrada.
