[Taiwan – March 15, 2024]”Rise of Ronin”, produced by Team NINJA, a subsidiary of KOEI TECMO Games, and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, will be released exclusively on PlayStation®5 (PS5®) on March 22. Sony Interactive Entertainment Taiwan (SIET) announced today (15th) that to celebrate the launch of the game, it will hold a “Launch Celebration” at the Huashan 1914 Creative Culture Park in Taipei from March 22 to March 31.
The story background of “Rise of Ronin” is set at the end of the Tokugawa shogunate in Japan. Players will play as ronin and personally experience the beginning of the new era of “Tokugawa” and feel the sparks of the collision of Eastern and Western cultures. This launch celebration features two major themes: Japanese style and Western style. The theme creates a large-scale installation art to restore the story background of “The Rise of Ronin”. We also cooperated with the artist “Jian Zhigang” to create a themed Ukiyo-e style mural, which fully presents the diverse styles of the Bakumatsu era. From March 22 to 24, NPCs from the Shogunate era will make a limited appearance through time and space to interact closely with on-site players.
