New Non-Stop Flights Between Shanghai and Brussels: Juneyao Air and Hainan Airlines Launch Services

Tickets for this scheduled service are now available for purchase on the Juneyao Air website. The flights will depart from Shanghai every Monday, Friday and Sunday at 1:55 am and arrive in Brussels at 8:15 am local time. The return flight departs 3.5 hours later, at 11:50 am.

Juneyao Air uses Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners on all longhaul flights with room for 324 passengers, of which 29 in Business Class and the rest in Economy.

Hainan Airlines
It was previously announced that Hainan Airlines will resume its scheduled service between Brussels and Shanghai Pudong from June, after a five-year interruption. It is already the third Chinese destination that connects Hainan with the Belgian capital. The others are Beijing and Shenzhen.

From June 18, the airline will fly between Brussels and Shanghai four times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, also using a 787-9.

Including the Juneyao Air flights, a non-stop passenger flight will soon depart between both cities almost daily (except on Wednesdays).

Far East
Although home carrier Brussels Airlines has no plans to fly to the Far East, the airport is becoming increasingly better connected to that part of the world. For example, Singapore Airlines will start a scheduled service to Singapore in April.

Furthermore, All Nippon Airways connects the airport with Tokyo. It is not yet clear when Thai Airways will resume scheduled service to Bangkok.
