We are together 24 hours a day. Concerts with the public are crazy, and we manage to fill them up every time. » Morgan even remembers being moved to tears during his last show of the tour.

This new date will therefore be in the municipality where you live. “The organizers couldn’t find a room – it’s charitable so it has to be free – so I contacted the mayor who said yes,” explains Delphine, Morgan’s mother, very involved in the artist’s life. of his son. “I’m not his agent,” she tempers. But we are doing everything to give him a better chance of succeeding. »

The passion for singing

Singing is a passion that emerged early in Morgan’s life. From CM1, at the age of 9. Inspired by his mother, he followed the same path as her by also enrolling in the children’s choir Les Éclats in Toulouse – a partner of the Orchester national du Capitole – of which he is still a part today. “I was super shy, but it made me happy,” he remembers. “It was a revelation. He was an anxious child and it allowed him to release his stress,” confirms Delphine.

His young career took a turn in 2020 by participating in Don’t forget the children. After this experience, Morgan received a request to try his luck on The Voice Kids. At first, Delphine isn’t really keen on the idea. “It’s a bigger machine,” she argues. They still try the adventure and send a video.

His appearance on TF1

With success. Filming begins during the All Saints’ Day holidays in 2021 for broadcast in September 2022. Between these two dates, it’s forbidden to talk about this adventure! Not even to his choir mates. “They were a little angry with him,” smiles the mother.

However, a great experience for Morgan. After his blind audition, he was selected in Kendji Girac’s team. His adventure ends in the semi-final. “It was emotional,” he recalls, “and I met lots of people. » Morgan has also remained in contact with several candidates from this season 8. Within Des Chansons plein la tête, he also finds Titouan, Sana and Timéo.

In addition, Morgan continues singing lessons with her vocal coach she met on the set of TF1, Sophie Delmas.

In his playlist…

In The Voice Kids, Morgan demonstrated his talent on variety and French song titles: Édith Piaf, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Au P’tit Bonheur. A genre that he particularly appreciates. “I really like songs with lyrics,” he confides. “Often sad songs,” comments his mother. You like I’m sick by Serge Lama, for example. »

Morgan also appreciates US rap, like JID or Nicki Minaj. However, lately, its musical application has been running more with American pop: Teddy Swims, Adele, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson…

Morgan is also a fan of musicals. Among his favorites: Starmania, The Greatest Showman, The 10 Commandments, Notre-Dame-de-Paris…

A future as a musical comedy artist?

Moreover, since this year, the young Baziégeois has been enrolled at the Toulouse Musical Comedy School (ECMT) where he also takes jazz dance lessons. A course that should help him achieve his goal: “I would like to become a musical comedy artist and join a school in Paris to make it my profession. » Before that, he hopes to join the Saint-Sernin high school in Toulouse with a music option.

His projects

Among the short-term projects, Morgan must record a single and a clip for producer Bernard Clapot with Manon, also a candidate for season 8 of The Voice Kids. It was also selected for the international Revelations of the Stars springboard in May in Cannes.

Dates of the Les Éclats choir are also on the program: Sunday March 17, with the Orchester nationale du Capitole, at the Halle aux grains in Toulouse and from May 8 to 12 at the Jeunes Voix Mêlées festival in Thuir (66).

He will finally be on June 2 with the ECMT in Préserville. Morgan would also like to offer his solo talents as an opening act for other artists’ concerts.
