Dead Zebra Android Minis Sale: Rare and Unreleased Figures Available Soon

If you’ve been around the Android scene long enough, you’ll remember a time when Dead Zebra Android Minis (some of them rare) being sold were a big deal in the enthusiast community. These little figurines represent an Android robot and usually come in a variety of fun and unique designs. Some would become hugely popular with collectors, either because of their rarity or just because they were cool designs. Sometimes both.

If you’re all about these little figures, you’ll want to keep an eye out for Dead Zebra’s next big sale. The company is “relocating” and needs to get rid of inventory to help raise funds for the transition. To that end, it plans to sell a lot of rare and previously unreleased Android Minis. It’s all happening on March 20th, but you’ll be able to get a handle on what’s going on sale before the release date. “Items will be previewed before the sale starts,” says Dead Zebra.

Some of the Android Minis that were sold were not previously available to the public

Some of the small numbers will be in stock, never before available to the public. If you’re into hunting down these types of very rare collectibles, this should tickle your fancy. As mentioned above, Dead Zebra plans to preview what items will be available. Currently, however, previews are not available.

In addition to previously unavailable items, some figures will simply be archived with extremely rare figures. Basically, the ones that had already been sold, but there weren’t that many in circulation. Dead Zebra says these will all be production samples. Production samples are small batches of numbers set aside during a new run for quality control purposes. But now Dead Zebra wants to offload them so they can put those funds toward relocation and “further projects.”

Figures will be sold daily sliding scale

Note that this is for collectors. So if the prices seem high, it’s on purpose. Dead Zebra will start by selling everything on the first and second day for $100. But as each day passes, the sliding scale will move those prices down. On the third and fourth day, everything will drop to $75. Then on the fifth and sixth days up to $50 and up to $12 each. However, here are some things to keep in mind.

By the ninth and tenth days, each case will cost $12. More importantly, many of these figures will have very little stock. And they’re likely to run out incredibly fast. Dead Zebra says that most listed samples will average around 20 in stock. That’s not a ton. However, some will only have 2 or 3 stocks. And they are likely to disappear immediately. The point is, if you want a new rare Android Mini for yourself, don’t wait until prices drop. Because you’re likely to miss out.
