A sharp cold in the middle of the new week and the possibility of snowfall not only in the mountains, but also in the lower parts of the country. Before that, however, a temporary increase in maximum temperatures is expected. Daily temperatures on the last day of the working week will be from 8°-9° in North-Eastern Bulgaria to around 15° in the southwestern regions, where there will be the most hours of sunshine. In the afternoon it will rain mainly in the central parts of the country. The wind will be weak to moderate, from the north-northwest, along the Southern Black Sea coast – from the east.
Overnight the rain will stop almost everywhere, but there will be fog or low cloud in many places in the plains and lowlands. The minimum temperatures tomorrow in most of the country will be
between 0° and 5°, in Sofia – as much as this morning, about 1°, and the maximum will be higher, compared to today, in the interval from 12° to 17°, in Sofia – about 14°. During the day, it will be mostly sunny, with more clouds over the mountainous and eastern regions, where in some places, with greater probability, it will rain in the afternoon.
And along the Black Sea, the day will start with fog in some places, which, however, will quickly dissipate to sunny weather. In the afternoon hours, there will be more significant increases in cloudiness and in some areas it will rain.
It will be cloudy in the mountains, before noon on the peaks – and foggy. It will blow to a moderate wind from the west-northwest, and the temperatures will rise slightly. In the second half of the day there will be light precipitation in places, and the border between snow and rain will be at an altitude of about 1800 meters.
On Sunday, there will be many areas with precipitation, in more places in Western Bulgaria. It will be sunny on Monday, but it will rain again on Tuesday and Wednesday, and with the expected drop in temperatures, it is possible for snow to fall in the lower mountainous regions, as well as in the northeastern parts of the country.
