The silly blog
Aaron Ramsdale is on his way away from Arsenal. David Raya has gained more and more confidence between the posts at the London club, which means that Ramsdale has often found himself on the bench. There have been just six Premier League appearances for the 25-year-old this season, with Chelsea and Wolves among others reported to be interested in signing the goalkeeper.
Now the rumors that Ramsdale is on the way further.
The Telegraph claims that Arsenal have identified a new second goalkeeper. American Patrick Schulte, 23, is on Arsenal’s radar, according to the newspaper.
Schulte currently plays for Columbus Crew in MLS, where the goalkeeper has made 43 appearances. Eleven clean sheets is his result.
Whether Arsenal sell Ramsdale, who is under contract until the summer of 2026, to replace him with Schulte remains to be seen.
