Governor Frigerio launches Campo Seguro program with rural unions in Entre Ríos

The launch was attended by the governor, Rogelio Frigerio; the Minister of Security and Justice, Néstor Roncaglia, among other officials and representatives of rural unions.

Specifically, the Federation of Rural Associations of Entre Ríos (FARER) participated – among others – its president, Nicasio Tito, and the head of the Rural Society of Feliciano, Juan Morante. Tito precisely pointed out that “this goes hand in hand with the meeting held a couple of weeks ago where we combined criteria to plan measures to prevent rural crimes. On the occasion of that meeting we were informed of this implementation, which serves as its formal beginning. Hopefully it will be the starting point of a truly relentless fight against crime in the countryside of Entre Ríos.”

For Tito “any instance of consensus is positive and along that path we have had various contacts. We have highlighted several topics of interest to producers and security was one of them. We want the field to be considered in its fair measure by the governor and his officials. We have spent many years of invisibility except when it comes to paying taxes. The countryside is vital for the development of this province and must be weighed in its fair measure,” he assured.

It is worth remembering that, as announced by the police authorities themselves, the Campo Seguro program “will be operations that have been planned and will be implemented, where there will be a comprehensive approach to the rural issue, where work will be done jointly. with the Departmental Headquarters and the Road Prevention Directorate.”
