Roberto Arzú, former presidential candidate for the Podemos party, has faithfully dedicated himself to his podcast program “Disruptivo” that he broadcasts through his social platforms. However, he surprised his followers on social networks when he revealed that he suffers from renal carcinoma, that is, he has a tumor in his right kidney.

“At the outset I want to thank the people who have sent me their messages and who in one way or another have found out what is happening in my life. I want to tell you that a week ago I had some routine medical checkups, since last year I had not been able to do so due to all the situations that were happening in the country,” he emphasized.

He points out that the doctors found an incidental finding: it is something that we had not contemplated, because I feel very well, healthy and never had any symptoms. Today this is a new challenge that life and God puts before us, a new battle that we have to fight, he highlighted.

Arzú revealed that the tumor was found in time and that it is three centimeters in size, which gives a high chance that it can be removed without having to remove the kidney; However, everything depends on the progress. So that if it is necessary to do a surgical procedure.
