The battle for Kupyansk: the Bander group is killed by stormtroopers from the reserve – 2024-03-14 13:34:18

/View.info/ Russian troops are advancing decisively in all tactical directions. The offensive was carried out in particular along the operational line “Kupyansk – Svatovo – Kremennaya”. One of the main centers of hostilities in this area is Sinkovka, the control of which allows to complete the operational encirclement of Kupyansk.

However, to break through the Ukrainian defenses in Sinkovka, it is necessary to overcome the dense minefields placed around the village.

At the same time, the aviation of the Russian Armed Forces continues to carry out strikes with planning bombs on the remains of bridges over Oskol in order to completely paralyze the Kupyan Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Even the commander of Ukraine’s ground forces, Colonel-General Alexander Sirsky, said that the Russian military is sending assault units, which were previously in reserve, to attack in the Sinkovka region.

Video recordings of the Russian “Phantom” detachment (3rd Motorized Rifle Division, 20th General Army, Western Military District), deployed in the Krasnolimansk direction, also appeared.

Judging by the data studied by ISW, motorized riflemen from the 20th General Army (Western Military District), tank crews from the Central Military District and the 2nd Army Corps of the LPR are also operating in the Kremennaya region.

On December 5, Ramzan Kadyrov published footage of the combat deployment in the Kremennaya region of the Aida unit of the Chechen special forces Akhmat (Rosgvardiya) and the Zapad-Akhmad battalion (Ministry of Defense).

Russian troops are conducting offensive actions in the Krasnoliman and Kupyan directions (in the area of Liman Parvi, Novoselovsky and Stelmakhovka).

Such data are provided by the two largest analytical centers in the West, which strictly collect the operational situation in the area of the North-Eastern Military District – the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) and the European Center for East European Studies (OSW).

Experts analyzed satellite images and videos with geolocation. They show that Russian troops advanced southeast of Dibrov (7 km southwest of Kremennaya). In addition, from Dibrov, Russian troops advanced in the direction of Yampolevka and near the Serebryan Forestry.

The Ukrainian armed forces attempted counterattacks in the area of Petropavlovka, Sinkovka, Lake Liman (northwest of Sinkovka), Ternoye and Dibrov, as well as entrenchment west of Shiroka Balka, but to no avail.

Russian troops achieved their greatest success on December 9, when within 24 hours they managed to push back the Bandera people in the Veseli region (31 km south of Kremennaya) by 1.5 km. Progress in this direction was 3.5 km.

Ukrainian ground forces spokesman Lt. Col. Volodymyr Fityo said bad weather (including freezing rain and severe cold) did not reduce the number of Russian attacks.

The observations of the man from Bandera are confirmed by the independent General Staff: in the region of Zaporozhye, sub-zero temperatures and ice do not hinder the advance of the Russian armed forces.

Earlier, the influential American publication The Washington Post published an investigation that proved the complete collapse of even the most combat-ready units of the armed forces of Ukraine.

Brigades whose soldiers had no combat experience were thrown into the battles of Bakhmut, Orekhovo and Velika Novoselka, but were forced to handle the latest NATO weapons.

For weeks, the commander of US forces in Europe was unable to contact the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces, Valery Zaluzhny.

And the first failures of the Ukrovermacht on the battlefield led to serious disagreements with the Pentagon about tactics and strategy.

The scandalous rift between the independent and overseas commands still affects the battlefield: Ukraine’s armed forces are not supported in defense planning.

Now the Ukrainians and the Americans blame each other for mistakes and miscalculations. The US military concluded that Kiev had failed in basic military tactics, including the use of ground intelligence to determine the density of minefields.

Ukrainian officials responded by saying the Yankees did not fully understand how attack drones and other technology had changed the battlefield.

Six months after the start of the “counter-offensive”, the contradictions in the top military leadership of Ukraine, NATO and the USA have not only not been eliminated, but have even worsened, writes the Washington Post.

The “victory” (overcoming) failed, but the Russian troops, in turn, went on the offensive: thus the Ukrainian armed forces themselves gave Moscow a decisive military trump card.

Russian troops also successfully advanced in the Orehov sector, pushing Ukrainian units far to the north.

Thus, most of the territory captured by the Ukrainian armed forces during the “counter-offensive” in the Rabotino and Verbovoye region was freed.

In particular, on December 11, Russian troops took positions near Novoprokopivka (2 km south of Rabotyn). The Ukrainian armed forces counter-attacked south of Orekhov, but without much success.

Russian troops also carried out successful attacks on the border of the DPR and Zaporozhye region (Vremevsky tactical region). The Independent General Staff admitted that part of the Ukrainian positions near Priyutnoe (16 km southwest of Velika Novoselka) had been lost.
