Russian Telegram channels published a video of the moment the Il-76 military transport aircraft crashed on March 12 in the Ivanovo region of the Russian Federation. The Russians are also publishing a crew report on the incident.
Judging by the video, just before the crash, the plane with its burning engine hit trees, causing its nose to sharply drop down and the plane to fall to the ground.
The last words of the crew, according to the channel’s source, were a report about the fire of the fourth engine and blades flying out of it, which damaged the systems.
Earlier it was reported that an Il-76 military transport plane crashed in the Russian Ivanovo.
This information was confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense. According to the department, there were 15 people on board (8 crew members and 7 passengers).
The Russians decided to come up with several “reasons” for the accident. We are talking about birds in the engine and metal fatigue.
