The final of the Greek Cup will be held at the Panthessal Stadium of Volos, according to what the EPO announced, after a meeting in which the Federation’s officials participated.
Essentially, the Federation made it clear that “it only has to implement the announcement”, which states that in the event of a team from Athens and Thessaloniki qualifying (as happened), the final will take place in the Thessalian city.
The discussion about the final of the Cup (Panathinaikos – Aris) will return after the crucial battles of the National team in the playoffs of the Nations League, which leaves open whether the final will be held in the presence of fans of the two teams or not.
“A meeting of officials took place today at the EPO offices with the aim of holding the Betsson Hellenic Cup Final. It was confirmed that the EPO must implement the announcement alone. The whole matter will be discussed in more detail and decisions will be made after the matches of the National Team, which precede both time and value”, noted in the relevant announcement.
