Christina Applegate
“I live in a kind of hell. I don’t get out much, so this is a little hard for me,” Applegate said in a snippet of the interview shared online Tuesday. “But of course the support is great, I am very grateful for that.”
The 52-year-old actress was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), a disease of the central nervous system, in 2021. “I will never wake up and think: this is great, I can tell you that. That will never happen. I wake up and am reminded of it every day,” she says of the disease. “But maybe I’ll go to a situation where I function a little better. Now I’m a bit isolated. That’s kind of how I deal with it, by not going anywhere because I don’t want to do it. It is difficult.”
(Voice) acting
Last year, Applegate told Vanity Fair no longer wanting to be in front of the camera. “I don’t want to think about having to go back on set now. This is a progressive disease, I don’t know if it will get worse,” she said. She did indicate at the time that she might be open to voice acting work.
