Hamid Al-Balawi, the well-known sports critic, entered into a heated argument with Abdullah Fallata, a prominent media personality in the sports field, about the future of Saud Abdul Hamid, the former player with Al-Ittihad Club.
In one of the evening episodes of the “Action with Walid” program, Al-Balawi expressed his point of view, saying: “Saud Abdul Hamid did not have the desire to continue within the ranks of Al-Ittihad, despite the attempts of Muhammad Nour and the player’s agent to convince him, but he insisted on refusing.”
On the other hand, Flatah presented a different point of view, saying: “I see things from a different perspective. What exactly happened when he was expelled from the camp? The role of Madalla Al-Olayan in this story must not be overlooked.”
Al-Balawi replied to him, saying: “God is my witness that I am happy and rejoicing over the success of the current Al-Hilal player, Saud Abdul Hamid, even though I had hoped for him to remain in Al-Ittihad. I spoke to his sons, and former Al-Ittihad star Mohamed Nour intervened, but he had no desire to continue with the Tigers.”

It is worth noting that Saud Abdul Hamid and his teammates in Al Hilal succeeded in confirming their superiority over Al-Ittihad, with a new victory on their home field, with the same result, so that Al-Zaeem officially qualified for the semi-finals of the continental championship, to face Al-Ain in two matches.
