Now Aishwarya has clarified the reason for the failure of the film. Aishwarya says that the footage shot for 21 days is lost.
It is true that the footage is lost. We were shocked that this could happen. There was 21 days of footage. It was unfortunate. This happened due to lack of responsibility. We shot a cricket match with 10 cameras. We wanted it to be like a real cricket match. The footage from 20 cameras is missing. We didn’t know what to do. – said Aishwarya Rajinikanth.
The actor says that instead of the lost footage, he decided to shoot again and edit with what he had. The biggest problem was that everyone, including Vishnu, Senthil and Appa, changed their get-up. So we couldn’t shoot again. In the end we were editing with what we had at hand. It was very challenging. Vishnu and Appa were ready to shoot again. Aishwarya added that it would not have been possible to re-shoot the whole thing.
Rajinikanth played the role of Moiteen Bhai in the film. But Aishwarya also says that the presence of Rajinikanth also caused the film to be pushed back. 10 minutes was originally given to the character of Moiteen Bhai. But Taraputri’s words are that after Rajinikanth entered the cinema, the film became around him.

For commercial reasons, we brought that character in early in the film. Otherwise the audience will get upset. We had to edit everything to have him throughout the film. The content was strong, but once I brought Rajinikanth into the story, nothing else mattered. Everything became about him. If a film has Rajinikanth, it should be about him because the audience doesn’t want to see anything else after that. That is Rajinikanth’s personality. He will hide everything else. That is the lesson I have learned.- Aishwarya clarified.
