Panagiotis Andreou, 52, a resident of Astromeriti, died in a fatal road collision shortly after midnight in Nicosia.
The road collision happened 15 minutes after midnight, when the motorcycle driven by the 52-year-old man on Archangelos Avenue in Engomi, at some point of the road, under circumstances that are being investigated, hit a curb (lines), causing it to overturn.
As a result of the overturning of the motorcycle, the 52-year-old man was thrown onto the asphalt, as a result of which he was fatally injured. He was taken by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital, where a doctor on duty pronounced him dead.
This afternoon, the prescribed autopsy was performed on the body. As it became clear during the post-mortem forensic examination, the death of the 52-year-old was due to multiple injuries, as a result of the road collision.
