3S Swiss Solar Solutions AG recently opened a second production site near Bern, and the organization is growing at the same time. With the realignment of the management team and the establishment of companies in Germany and Austria, the company is optimally positioned for growth.

As of March 1st, Christian Bartholet took over responsibility for global sales and marketing, the company announced. As CSO, he is a member of the 3S management. With more than 25 years of experience in the international construction supply industry, Christian Bartholet was most recently responsible for the global role as CSO Sales and Marketing at Jansen, a leading international manufacturer of building systems. He also has consulting and managing experience and worked for many years at Geberit in various international roles in sales, product management and marketing.
Christian Bartholet has extensive experience in transformation processes that lead to customer-centric cultures and organizations with profitable growth. «I am looking forward to working closely with the management and the entire 3S team as well as with our customers and partners. It is a privilege to be able to support 3S in this crucial growth phase in my role as CSO Sales and Marketing,” says Christian Bartholet.

Restructuring
Dominique Studer, who was previously responsible for overall sales for 3S, will in future concentrate specifically on the rapidly growing Swiss market. This step is important and necessary to ensure consistent and optimal support for the significantly increased number of specialist partners and at the same time to bring further innovations onto the market. “In addition to developing building-integrated solar systems, we will increasingly offer digital solutions and services. The 3S Designer for planning 3S solar roofs, which we are launching shortly, is just a first step in this direction. We see great potential in digitalization and would like to support our specialist partners and solar system users even better in the future with various tools,” explains Dominique Studer.
With the founding of two national companies in the first quarter of 2024, the expansion of 3S Swiss Solar Solutions is also taking concrete shape. In order to ensure the necessary customer proximity, the company is currently building a powerful team in Germany and Austria. “The expansion into new markets and our growing presence continue to drive customer demand for modules manufactured in Switzerland,” says Dr. Patrick Hofer-Noser, CEO and founder of 3S. “With the highly efficient production facility in Worb (BE), which is unique in Europe, we have created the conditions to meet this demand for our premium product beyond the borders of Switzerland and thus make a decisive contribution to the energy transition,” adds the solar pioneer of Switzerland.
