Now a new tool makes it possible to record phone calls if you have a Nothing mobile.
It’s Nothing’s Carl Pei which goes out on X (formerly Twitter) and says that it has launched a new widget that makes it possible to “discreetly record mobile conversations” with Nothing mobiles.
There is still no concrete information about the new feature, but based on Pei’s wording, it appears that the feature has been released to all three Nothing models, and that the recordings can be made without the person “on the other end of the call” being aware that the call is being recorded.
In this context, it can be added that in Sweden it is legal to record telephone conversations if the person recording is himself participating in the conversation. You do not need to inform the other person that the call is being recorded. However, it is illegal to record conversations if you are not participating in the conversation yourself, which counts as illegal wiretapping and can lead to punishment.
