The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has apologized for a photo that went viral of her smiling while holding her children on Mother’s Day.
The photo is accompanied by Kate Middleton’s thanks for the support she received after the operation she underwent.
At a time when rumors and conspiracy theories are running rampant on social media, the post featuring the happy princess has caused a stir as the photo appears to be photoshopped.

In her statement on Twitter, the princess said: “I wanted to apologize for any confusion caused by the family photo we shared yesterday. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C.”
