380 Thousand Biznet User Data Leaked on Dark Web, Cyber Security Expert Reveals

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – As many as 380 thousand Biznet user data is suspected to have been leaked on the dark web. The leaked data is in the form of names, emails, NIK, NPWP, cellphone numbers, addresses, and so on.

This information was revealed by cyber security expert Teguh Aprianto via his Twitter account @secgron on Sunday, March 10 2024.

According to the tweet, the leaked data belonging to 380 thousand Biznet customers was leaked by a threat actor who claimed to be a Biznet employee.

This employee is said to not agree with the FUP policy, aka fair usage policy or normal usage limits implemented by Biznet.

In the tweet, Teguh displayed a picture screen capture samples of data allegedly belonging to Biznet users were leaked.

From the picture, it can be seen that the Biznet customer data that was leaked started from Biznet ID, first name and last name, gender, date of birth, nationality, NIK, email, to telephone number.

Teguh in his tweet also said that the perpetrator of the data leak threatened Biznet management through the messages he sent.
