He noted that the committee had considered all 16 blocks of amendments, but some aspects remained. They will be considered starting Monday. Within a week or two, the Verkhovna Rada will be provided with a comparative table.
According to him, it is proposed to review the enterprises and organizations that can book their employees.
Venislavsky said that after the adoption of the new law, categories of people who previously had the right to deferment will receive reserved status. The law defines the criteria and framework for this.
“That is, what kind of enterprises, organizations that are critically important for the functioning of the state and the life of the population. They should receive the right to reservation,” the deputy said.
In his opinion, it is necessary to reserve police officers.
We agreed that all police officers become reserved, and do not receive the right to a deferment… Also in state authorities, in local governments, accordingly, either 100 are reserved (if these are heads of central authorities, category A), or 50% ( categories B and C civil servants) liable for military service,” Venislavsky said.
He also added that there are employees of enterprises that are not critical for the functioning of the state. However, this issue will be decided by the government.
Earlier it became known that the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense currently allows only one restriction for those evading mobilization – regarding the right to drive vehicles.
