The acceptance of projects under the program of the Municipality of Burgas to support start-up enterprises has begun.
Eligible participants will be individuals or legal entities registered under the Commercial Law up to 3 years prior to the date of application.
They must meet the conditions for a micro or small business – teams of at least 2 (two) natural persons, as well as students from Burgas over the age of 16.
The submission of projects will be entirely electronic by filling out a form through the website of the Business Incubator – Burgas: https://business-burgas.com/.
The projects must be implemented and developed for the first time on the territory of the municipality of Burgas, introduce sustainable, pragmatic solutions integrating economic, social and environmental urban themes, offer a specific solution to a given urban problem and provide for free use by citizens of Burgas.
The options for obtaining financial support are different depending on the stage of the project ideas.
In addition to packages for start-up enterprises, financing of up to BGN 5,000 is provided, which can cover up to 50% of the project’s value.
Self-entry is not required for teams of students.
The deadline for accepting applications is until 13.04.2024, after which an evaluation and ranking will be carried out by the Standing Committee for the management of the funds pledged in the municipal budget to create conditions for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the territory of the municipality of Burgas.
