Glitz and glamor dominated shopping in North Graz yesterday when Verena Raffer and Christopher Dengg were crowned the new Miss and Mister Styria 2024.

Under the Motto #aswellubist the shopping center was transformed into a stage for beauty, elegance and charisma. The event, which took place in front of a sold-out crowd, not only attracted numerous spectators, but also celebrities and guests of honor.
Childhood dream fulfilled
The jury, consisting of personalities such as Kerstin Rigger from Mission Austria, celebrity hairdresser Dieter Ferschinger, Mister Austria Alexander Höfler and music legend Jazz Gitti, named Verena Raffer from Bruck an der Mur as the new Miss Steiermark and Christopher Dengg as Mister Steiermark. For Dengg, a childhood dream came true as his mother was Miss Austria in 1994.
“It was always my dream”
Verena Raffer said she was happy about her victory: “It was always my dream to take part in this great pageant. That alone is a great joy. Winning this is of course amazing and I’m looking forward to representing my title worthy for the next 12 months. And of course the next highlight comes in September, the Miss Austria election in Vienna.”

For Veren Raffer, a childhood dream came true.
“We had a lot of fun for two days”
Christopher Dengg shared his enthusiasm: “We had a lot of fun for two days and there was a really great atmosphere among us participants. This was then transferred to the event and the audience was also great. I’m now looking forward to many great moments as Mister Steiermark 2024.”

The finalists of the Miss and Mister election Styria 2024
The other places went to women Nina Ibrahim from Gratkorn and Lena Nievoll from Krieglachas well as for men Johannes Frühwald from Graz and Dennis Zinner from Kindberg. In addition to numerous goods prizes, the winners received, among other things, a shopping voucher worth 500 euros from Trachten Hiebaum.

The Miss and Mister Steiermark 2024 was a complete success.
“Worthy setting for this great event in Graz”
The organizer, Wolfgang Koinig, thanked everyone involved: “We were at Shopping Nord for the second time, just like ten years ago, and it was a worthy setting for this great event in Graz. Thanks to all sponsors, partners, jury, guests and participants.”
