The idea for the film “Kinmen” originated from Jiang Xianbin and Jiang Songchang’s visit to Kinmen during the 2020 COVID-19 (2019 New Coronavirus Disease) epidemic, and they became interested in the “border story” represented by the land of Kinmen. , thus triggering the idea of ”taking Kinmen as the starting point to tell the story of Taiwan.”
Jiang Xianbin said that the Oscar nomination for “Golden Gate” this time is a great encouragement to CNEX. They will continue to use documentaries to promote more dialogue, “Let more people know Taiwan, which itself is very valuable.”
