This Friday, the Historic Center of San Salvador hosted world and Olympic champion cyclists, who have been competing since last Monday in the Tour El Salvador 2024. At night, the Prologue of the UCI 2.1 Cycling Tour of El Salvador took place, which It started from the National Palace and ended at km 0. The activity also had an impact on the surrounding streets of the Center of San Salvador, due to the intense traffic it caused.

There were 2.5 kilometers that were covered by a hundred national and foreign cyclists, as part of the time trial, which is to define the starting positions of the athletes for the first test in the next stage of the competition, after the three Grand Prix disputed this week.

During the night of this Friday, several intersections in the center of San Salvador were closed by security elements, which generated intense traffic in the area.
