Everything seemed to be going smoothly for the Londoners when Declan Rice confirmed his excellent form by heading home Ben White’s cross in the 19th minute.

What’s next for Arsenal?
The next challenge for the ‘Gunners’ will be the home game against Porto, next Tuesday, in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16, a series that they will have to overcome, as they arrive with a 1-0 loss.
In 15th place, with 26 points, Brentford have only achieved one point from the last 15 in play, although they have faced major rivals such as Liverpool, City, West Ham and Chelsea before the visit to the Emirates.
