Nexon recently announced that they are working on a new game that will try their luck in the field of fantasy action role-playing games. The South Korean publisher is already considered experienced in the genre, so Vindictus: Defying Fate might be worth paying attention to fans.
The title may already be familiar to some, as they already made an MMORPG called Vindictus nearly a decade and a half ago. Defying Fate will take place in the same universe, but will be a one-person adventure. The world is inspired by Celtic mythology, and players will encounter various monsters during their adventures. Among them there will be quite big ones.
According to the developers’ promise, the fast-paced, dynamic battles will play a significant role as well as the character development typical of role-playing games and the decisions that shape the story. Good reflexes and strategic thinking will be equally necessary during the fights. Different monsters and opponents will sometimes require completely different tactics.
Vindictus: Defying Fate has not yet been given a release date. It is being developed for PC and consoles.
